The Early Universal Machine Cancellations: Glace Bay

According to the Auditor General's reports, Glace Bay had a Universal machine intermittently. A Type I ($80/annum) was rented Sep 1, 1917 to March 31, 1918, a Type I (Model D) ($105/annum) from Oct 1, 1918 to Dec 31, 1918 and $100/annum from April 1, 1919. We should also note that we believe the report of a Glace Bay International machine noted by Sessions was erroneous.

The dater hub is about 20mm in diameter, and its right side is about 10mm from the start of the obliterator. The obliterator consists of six lines.
